Ask the Contractor Teleconferences

Periodically throughout the year, the Upstate Medicare Division (UMD) hosts free Ask the Contractor Teleconference (ACT) calls. Similar to the Open Door Forum sessions hosted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), ACTs serve to identify problems in a timely way, provide methods of sharing information, and provide an excellent tool for listening to our customers.

The format for ACTs includes timely Medicare updates, followed by open discussion. CMS New York Regional Office staff occassionally participate in ACTs.

Below are the presentations/minutes from each ACT.

To register for upcoming ACT calls, visit the "Events" section of our Web site.

These downloadable ACT presentations/minutes are provided using Adobe's® Portable Document Format (PDF). In order to view and print PDF documents, you must first download the current Adobe Reader®. Adobe Reader is free and available for all major computer platforms. Download Adobe Reader from Adobe's Web site.
